Autism Acceptance Month

April is National Autism Acceptance Month, here at [insert school name] we are committing ourselves to learning about how common Autism Spectrum Disorder is, how every diagnosis is as different as the person, and that we are each individuals with our own strengths and abilities. [Insert school name] is committing to lighting it up blue on [choose a date that works for your school community]. Please consider wearing something blue on [chosen date in April] in support of understanding and acceptance for people with Autism. 

World Health Day

April 7th is World Health Day! [Insert school name] is calling our students of all abilities to share the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle to play well and live well. We plan to share our experiences by [choose one way to engage students from the following: making it a part of the morning announcements, a school-wide health challenge, or another project that will get the attention of the student body]. 

National Student Leadership Week

National Student Leadership Week is April 18th-24th. During this week [insert school name] is inspiring our students to see themselves as agents of change. We encourage students to submit one strength they have that can make them their own kind of leader– think outside the box! We plan to share this with the greater school community at the conclusion of the campaign!
