90 Day Fit 5 Challenge Recap
Special Olympics Maryland Challenges you to a 90 Day Fit 5 Fitness Challenge designed to encourage athletes to create a healthier lifestyle by meeting their physical activity, nutrition, and hydration goals for 90 days.
Participants will track their progress using the above-linked activity logs and post accomplishments on social media. The 90 Day Fitness Challenge is appropriate for all ages, and abilities because you are tracking your own fitness and nutrition goals!
This challenge gives participants the opportunity to set their own goals while determining how they want to achieve each goal.
All SOMD athletes are welcome to join us on this 90 Day Challenge starting Saturday, March 19 going until Friday, June 17 leading up to Special Olympics Maryland’s Summer Games.
Our athletes participated in the 90 Day Fit 5 Fitness Challenge from September 22nd – December 21st! This challenge was designed to encourage athletes to create a healthier lifestyle by meeting their physical activity, nutrition, and hydration goals for 90 days.
Participants tracked their progress using activity logs and posted their accomplishments on social media. This challenge gave participants the opportunity to set their own goals while determining how they wanted to achieve each goal and we are so excited to do this challenge again in 2022!
David Godoy is an Athlete Leader and Health Messenger from Montgomery County who participated in the 90 Day Fit 5 Challenge, he found it was extremely helpful to stay consistent with diet and gave him a reason to get active everyday!
