Unity Day

This holiday is celebrated on either the 3rd or 4th Wednesday in October, this year taking place on October 19th. This takes place during National Bullying Prevention Month because we are uniting to fight bullying and promote inclusion, courage, and kindness.

Unity Day was founded by PACER in 2011

Orange is the color of Unity Day because it is associated with safety, visibility, and protection

People describe orange as warm and inviting, another reason we wear orange

Virtual backgrounds are one of the easiest ways to spread awareness about Unity Day! The month of October you can replace your normal backdrop with one below to encourage others to take care of their feet in any Zoom meeting you have!
