The health and safety of our athletes, families, volunteers, and staff remain the top priority for Special Olympics Maryland. Put together by a committee of SOMD Athletes, Coaches, Family Members, Medical Professionals, and SOMD Staff, our Return to Play protocol is guided by current medical information and relevant CDC and local guidelines. The COVID-19 pandemic is changing daily, but we are excited to offer meaningful opportunities for sports training and competition in a safe and inclusive environment through our Return to Play protocol.
