Frederick County will be hosting community YAP events on Sundays starting Feb 27th extending to June 19th. We hope to see you and your Young Athlete there!

Young Athletes is a fun way for children to stay active and establish healthy habits for the future. It is important to teach children healthy habits while they are young. This can set the stage for a life of physical activity, friendships and learning. Through Young Athletes, all children, their families, and people in the community can be a part of an inclusive team.

Our Young Athletes In The Community Program is the perfect sport and play program to participate in during organized play. Use the lesson plans found here to be guided through six weeks of activities promoting gross motor skill development.
