Our events don't exist without our volunteers, and the same goes for our Virtual MOVEment. We are always looking for volunteers to engage Special Olympics Maryland athletes, families, Unified® Partners, and volunteers in our fun at-home opportunities. Our goals are to improve overall health and fitness, encourage virtual socialization, and promote physical activity. Interested in getting involved? Check out our volunteer opportunities below!
MOVEment Meeting Coach
MOVEment Meetings are weekly group fitness experiences offered on Fridays at noon over Zoom. Each session will last roughly 15-20 minutes and is led by a Special Olympics Maryland Athlete, staff member, or celebrity guest coach! Using Fit5® resources as a guide, fitness coaches will lead group participants through a fun at-home workout emphasizing flexibility, endurance, or strength.
